Experience #lostcount
Some students (and their genius professor) from the Sibelius Akatemia in Helsinki gave a humble concert in the canteen of the school: Elektroakustista Improvisaatiota, said the leaflet.
From the second half I decided to wear my earplugs which was a great decision. Not only was I protecting my hearing (and didn't end up with a pEEEEp the whole night), but it also created the feeling of a bubble. It seemed as if my world gradually decreased in size until it was just me, some chairs, my beer and the musicians. At moments some weirdly connected sounds and rhythms grabbed my brain to knead it gently like a soft dough, to leave behind in a different shape and order.
It felt rather confusing / relieving.
When I released the earlplugs from my ears, 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, 4 sec, 5 sec
I thought [what if an experience - of a happening/event/circumstance or surrounding/environment - that normally would stay unnoticed, become clear?] As if, suddenly you could hear, see, feel or touch.
